Golden Belt Telephone is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to help provide outstanding IT customer service for GBT operating entities and provide expertise that ensure all customers feel valued. Position Description:
What You’ll Do
- Repair and maintain computers for company and business technology services.
- Monitor and maintain the company's networks, monitoring and investigating when a security breach occurs.
- Site walk through or remote consultations depending on the customers' needs.
- Research, bidding and setting up data backups, firewalls, servers, routers, switches, PC's, and software.
- Help drive continuous improvement through learning, interaction and communication.
What You Bring
- Ability to perform data transfers/recovery/backups, install firewalls, servers, routers, PC's and software.
- Strong knowledge of latest viruses and spyware and ability to suggest systems/upgrades to protect.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers
