Overview:
Status: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Location: GBT Service Area
At GBT, keeping people connected takes more than fiber and technology. It takes people who are willing to get outside, get their hands dirty, solve problems, and build something that matters. We’re looking for an Outside Plant Technician / Construction Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines telecommunications construction, outside plant maintenance, equipment operation, and customer service. You might spend one day operating a boring machine or cable plow, another locating underground utilities, and another helping install or repair services for a residential or business customer. If you like variety, working with your hands, operating equipment, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day, this could be your kind of job.
